Greetings From Your President
July!!! What a great month of the year! Independence Day, Deer tag Results, Fly fishing in tennis shoes and we are starting out monthly luncheons back up! We are honored to have Kevin Robling the New GF&P Secretary presenting at our program on the 6th. This should be a great program and I am looking forward to it.
Speaking of deer tags how were the results for you? I’m always curious to hear feedback from our members on the new draw system. This is the third year of the new system, I personally have mixed results and opinions still at this point. Thoughts?
I hope everyone is going to get out and do some celebrating this 4th. It’s defiantly one of the better holidays for getting together with friends and family. Happy 4th!!
See everyone at the luncheon July 6th 11:45am – The Rushmore Hotel & Suites.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR NEW INPUT FROM OUR MEMBERS!!
---
I am excited to say that the BHSC will be back in business as usual. Please attend our meeting this month on July 6 and bring a guest. We will be gathering membership fees in person who did not pay online.
We have a great program with the Sec of the Game Fish and Parks (Kevin Robling) as our speaker. Two issues that will be covered is the huge increase in OHV use in the Black Hills and a review of deer tag distribution with discussion on archery tags also.
We really want to see a crowd to let the GFP know we care and are active in protecting our resource. The queen of hearts was won at our last in person meeting so we will be starting a new batch with $100 in the pot. Bring your $5.
Please also note the important dates in the newsletter (listed below in "Upcoming Events"). We are going to have three social events this year to recruit members and tell stories. Don't forget to mark your calendars so you don't miss out on the fun!
We also have been working on getting our web page up to date. Please visit that page for new info on our club and our involvement with the community.
I am not sure everyone is aware of how many working groups, boards, foundations, etc. that our members sit on and actively represent our club. It will be listed on our web page along with contact information on all our board members.
If anyone has input or would like us to add to our webpage
please email us at blackhillssportsmenclub@gmail.com
